Academic Mission

The Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology program at Kampala International University, Ishaka Campus, provides comprehensive training in the principles and practices of diagnostic imaging. Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various imaging modalities, including radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound. The curriculum emphasizes patient care, radiation safety, image interpretation, and the ethical considerations inherent in medical imaging. Graduates will be prepared to contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient management. This program equips students with critical thinking, technical proficiency, and a strong foundation for careers as radiographers, sonographers, or imaging technologists.
