Academic Mission

The Bachelor of Public Health program at Kampala International University equips students with a comprehensive understanding of population health principles and practices. This undergraduate program focuses on the social, environmental, and behavioral determinants of health, as well as the organization and delivery of health services. Students will engage with core concepts in epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, and health promotion. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, research methodologies, and practical application to address public health challenges. Graduates will be prepared for roles in disease prevention, health education, community health assessment, and health program management. Key skills developed include data analysis, program evaluation, and effective communication for diverse audiences.
