Academic Mission
The Master of Science in Ugandan Sign Language Translation and Interpreting program at Kyambogo University equips students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the complex domains of sign language translation and interpretation. This master's level program delves into linguistic analysis of Ugandan Sign Language (USL), comparative studies with spoken Ugandan languages, and the ethical considerations inherent in professional interpreting.
