Academic Mission
The Bachelor of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics provides students with a strong foundation in quantitative methods for understanding and addressing public health challenges. This interdisciplinary program integrates principles of epidemiology, biostatistics, and data science to analyze disease patterns, evaluate interventions, and inform public health policy. Students will learn to design studies, collect and manage data, perform statistical analyses, and interpret findings to improve population health outcomes. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication of complex information. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in public health agencies, research institutions, healthcare organizations, and pharmaceutical companies, utilizing their skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and epidemiological investigation.
