Academic Mission
The Master of Public Administration and Management (MPAM) program at Uganda Management and Technology University (UTAMU), Kungu Campus, is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in leading and managing public sector organizations. This master's level program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering public policy analysis, organizational behavior, financial management in the public sector, and strategic planning. Students will engage with theoretical frameworks and contemporary case studies relevant to the Ugandan and broader African context. The program fosters critical thinking, ethical leadership, and effective decision-making capabilities essential for navigating complex public service environments. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in government ministries, local authorities, non-governmental organizations, and international development agencies, developing expertise in public service delivery and governance.
