Academic Mission
The Diploma in Development Studies program at Uganda Pentecostal University offers a comprehensive introduction to the theories, practices, and challenges of economic and social development. Students will engage with critical analyses of development paradigms, explore the complexities of poverty reduction, and examine the role of various actors in promoting sustainable progress. The curriculum emphasizes understanding local and global development contexts, incorporating interdisciplinary perspectives from sociology, economics, and political science.
