STECO EDUCATIONAL CONSULTS SEMINAR ITEMS 2026 UACE ENTREPRENEURSHIP ITEM 1 Kayunga district faces significant youth un employment with many young people migrating to urban areas due to lack of economic opportunities. To address this problem, the district council has partnered with craft industry in the area to engage young people in the same line of business. To emphasize the above initiation, the district has secured a fund of Ugx 10,000,000 from Uganda Development Bank. Task As an entrepreneurship student, guide them on a) How to assess the profitability of their chosen business. b) How can the youth protect their business ideas? ITEM 2 You have been invited to sensitize the youths of Mabira village who are interested in engaging in business about how entrepreneurial environment operates. Task a) Explain to the youths of Mabira village the aspects that characterize the entrepreneurial environment b) Guide them about the economic environment factors that may affect the entrepreneurial attitudes and opportunity identification. ITEM 3 Mukwano group of companies is one of the enterprises which operate on large scale in East Africa. It creates many employment opportunities in various sections like production, store management and marketing. Due to increasing demands for products from Mukwano group of companies, there is need to adopt technology which is appropriate.
