Program Description
The Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies is a postgraduate program designed to equip students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills in understanding and addressing the complexities of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and post-conflict reconstruction. This interdisciplinary program draws from sociology, political science, international relations, and psychology to explore the root causes of conflict, analyze negotiation and mediation strategies, and evaluate peacebuilding interventions. Students will engage in rigorous academic inquiry through coursework, research seminars, and a thesis project. Graduates are prepared for careers in international organizations, non-governmental agencies, government ministries, and academic institutions focused on diplomacy, humanitarian aid, and sustainable development. Key skills developed include critical analysis, research methodologies, and effective communication in diverse cultural contexts.
