Academic Mission

The Bachelor of Human Resource Management program at the Islamic University in Uganda equips students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively manage an organization's most valuable asset: its people. This comprehensive undergraduate program delves into critical areas such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and strategic human resource planning. Students will explore the legal and ethical frameworks governing employment practices and develop an understanding of organizational behavior and motivation. The curriculum emphasizes the development of analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities essential for navigating complex workplace dynamics. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles in human capital management, talent acquisition, and organizational development within various sectors.
