Being a new association it faces a challenge of producing graded pattern bloc ks, especially for the sleeves, which can be adapted to produce garments that fit different sizes. The chairperson of the association knows that your class has the knowledge and s kills in drafting. He is therefore seeking your guidance in drafting a gr aded sleeve block for size 14 that can be adapted to satisfy the needs of the three differen t organisations. Task 1: DRAFFTING A BLOCK: 1 hour 30 minutes Create the required graded block for which the chair per son was seeking your guidance. Task 2: GARMENT CONSTRUCTION: 2 hours 30 minutes Construct a highly marketable dress for a corporate wear for t he staff of one of the organisations, using the final graded dress block for size 14 and the lay out plan provided.
