(s) Entrepreneurship is the process of identifying a business opportunity, organizing resources, and taking the risk to create and manage a new venture in order to make a profit or solve a problem. Meaning of an Entrepreneu r An entrepreneur is a person who identifies a business opportunity, organizes resources, takes risks, and starts and manages a business with the aim of making a profit or creating value. Entrepreneurship Education Entrepreneurship education is the teachin g and training that equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and abilities needed to identify business opportunities, start and manage enterprises successfully. PURPOSE OF STUDYING ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Entrepreneurship education aims to equip learners with knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to start, manage, and grow businesses. Its main purposes include: Developing Entrepreneurial Skills Teaches skills such as creativity, innovation, problem -solving, decision -making, and leadership. Prom oting Self -Employment Encourages learners to create their own jobs instead of relying only on paid employment. Enhancing Business Knowledge Provides knowledge on business planning, marketing, finance, record keeping, and management. Encouraging Innovation and Creativity Helps learners identify opportunities and develop new ideas, products, and services. Reducing Unemployment and Poverty By promoting business creation, it contributes to income generation and economic growth.
