Terms of Play & Game Rules

Everything you need to know about points, difficulty categories, retry formulas, and climbing the ranks.

Age Limit: Only participants above 10 years of age are eligible to play.
Auto-Assignment: Players are matched to default leagues matching their age group:
- Youngsters: Age 11-13
- Teens: Age 14-17
- Juniors: Age 18-21
- Elites: Age 22+
League Selection: You can switch active divisions dynamically from the main Arena list.

Each question permits a maximum of 3 attempts. Point multipliers scale down dynamically depending on the trial number:

1st Attempt 1.33x Multiplier

2nd Attempt 0.66x Multiplier

3rd Attempt 0.00x (No Points)

Multiplier = 2.0 - (trials / 3) * 2.0

Stuck on a tricky question? You can opt for a Soft Skip rather than guessing and risking a failed attempt:

Partial Credit: 45% Points

Skipping awards a flat 45% of the question's base value, helping you protect your score progression.

Once skipped, a question cannot be re-attempted.

Questions are grouped into distinct difficulty classes with base point assignments:

STANDARD

Core academic questions covering fundamental topics.

CLASSIFIED HARD

Complex conceptual and calculation problems.

Time Tracking: The system logs your exact response speed in milliseconds.
Tie-Breaker Metric: Leaderboard positions are determined by highest points scored. In case of matching scores, the player with the lowest total response time wins the tie.
Anti-Cheating Controls: Server-side timestamps prevent buying extra thinking time via page reloads or window switching.
